Our story

A familiar face in the town centre

BritChiro has cared for the New Milton and coastal New Forest community since 1997 — right across from the Rec, with a large car park only 50 metres behind us. Over the years, thousands of local people have walked through our doors with a stubborn bad back, a trapped nerve, or aches they’d simply learned to live with.

Our approach is simple and honest: diagnose properly, explain clearly, and treat only what needs treating — with a defined endpoint, never an open-ended commitment. No gimmicks, no pressure, and no being kept in care longer than you need.

Harriet Gillard MChiro

Driven and dynamic, Harriet set out to become a chiropractor early in life — out of a simple desire to help others.

Originally from Bristol, she graduated from the AECC in 2021 and has since settled in the New Forest, drawn by its picturesque coastline. An avid sports enthusiast, Harriet dedicated herself to semi-professional football for many rewarding years. While her dreams of reaching professional status didn’t come to fruition, she discovered an equally fulfilling path as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

She flourishes in this field, enjoying the diverse range of individuals she has the privilege to treat. From seniors to infants, each interaction fuels her dedication to wellness.

Outside the clinic: Harriet embraces everything from the adrenaline of Muay Thai and mixed martial arts to the serenity of snowboarding in the Canadian wilderness.

Bana Yared MChiro

Bana is dedicated to helping people move freely, ease pain, and — most importantly — reclaim the activities they love.

She began her journey into healthcare by exploring Global Health and Social Medicine in London, gaining a BSc degree, before pursuing her passion for chiropractic with a Master’s in Chiropractic at the Health Sciences University, Bournemouth.

Drawing on her experience with a diverse range of patients, and with her own zest for the outdoors, Bana truly understands the value of staying active and pain-free.

Outside the clinic: Bana is a keen CrossFitter and runner. She spent three months solo travelling across Central and South America, hiking volcanoes and embracing the outdoors — experiences that continue to shape her practical, movement-focused approach to care.
