Your questions about cost & payment
Straight answers on what you pay, what's included and how billing works at BritChiro New Milton.
How much does a chiropractor cost at BritChiro New Milton?
Your first visit is £54 (a full 40–60 minute consultation and examination), and each treatment session after that is £50. You pay per visit — there are no packages to buy upfront.
Will I have to pay up-front for a lot of treatment?
No. At BritChiro New Milton you pay per visit, settling the fee at the end of each appointment — you're never asked to pay in advance for a block of treatment. After your examination, your chiropractor gives you an honest estimate of how much care you're likely to need in your Report of Findings, so there are no surprises. Some patients have more concentrated treatment at first and then move to occasional check-up visits if they choose — always your decision.
Do you accept private insurance?
Yes — the chiropractors at BritChiro New Milton are recognised by most major UK health insurers, including AXA, Cigna, Simply Health and Vitality. You pay for each visit at the time and then claim the cost back from your insurer, so it's worth checking your policy for how much chiropractic care it covers. Please mention which private health insurance company you hold at the time of booking your appointment, as charges may differ for insured patients.
Will I need an X-Ray?
Only when it is clinically indicated.
How many sessions will I need, and what will a full course cost?
It depends on your condition, but your chiropractor estimates this for you at your Report of Findings, before any treatment begins. Most courses reach a defined endpoint rather than continuing indefinitely.
What's included in the £54 first visit?
Your £54 first visit includes a full consultation, a physical examination, and a plain-English Report of Findings that explains your diagnosis and your options. An on-site digital X-Ray is available where clinically indicated and is charged separately.
What if chiropractic can't help me — do I still pay for the first visit?
Yes, because the first visit is a full diagnostic assessment regardless of the outcome. If we don't think we can help, we'll tell you honestly and often refer you to a GP or specialist — sometimes with a short report to speed up your NHS care.
Is chiropractic available on the NHS?
Chiropractic is not available on the NHS, so care at BritChiro New Milton is private. You don't need a GP referral, and most private health insurers cover some or all of the cost.
Do you offer free consultations, discounts or Groupon deals?
No — we keep one fair, fixed price for everyone rather than discount offers or prepaid packages. Your £54 first visit is a full diagnostic consultation, not a sales pitch.
How can I pay?
You can pay by Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit), or by cash at the clinic. You settle up at the end of each visit — there’s nothing to pay in advance.
Do you charge for missed or cancelled appointments?
We appreciate as much notice as possible so the slot can be offered to another patient who needs it. A cancellation fee applies for appointments not cancelled more than 24 hours in advance — though on a first instance this is generally waived.
